Lux Contracts Ltd designed and built a side and rear extension to my property. They were extremely helpful as they could provide design & architectural services within their package. They produced the drawings, structural calculations and all paperwork which meant things progressed smoothly from start to finish. I was kept informed step by step as the job progressed as to what was being achieved.
When finished, the work had been completed to a high standard, to the amount agreed and within the time given. Although it was basically a building site the men did their very best as to keep the area clean, was kept safe and secure and tidy.
Would highly recommend Lux Contracts and use again in the future.

Lux Contracts Ltd were hired to conduct a full renovation of a new “Buy To Let” property in S E London. Works needed were removing an internal wall, fitting a new kitchen, new bathroom and full decoration throughout.
Richard was very helpful by visiting the property before purchase to give me an idea of time scale and cost of works needed, his advice and reassurance were extremely helpful.
The work was completed on time and to a very high standard, Richard kept in constant contact with me either face to face or by phone. I was extremely pleased with the high standard of work done by Richards company and would recommend him and will use Lux Contracts Ltd for any future projects.

Richard and his team built a first-floor rear and side extension and remodelled the kitchen and bathroom to create a modern living space.
All the trades involved were very professional, punctual and finished their work on time and to a high standard. During the build we had to make changes to the original plans, Richard was very helpful with suggestions. A great job done.

Richard and his team are impressive on all levels. They are also exactly the kind of people you should want working on your home – they have oceans of experience, are fair, naturally helpful and above all very skillful. It was very evident from the outset that Richard could see exactly how to approach the architect’s plans, and the consistency and expertise was in evidence throughout the project. This was a full 24 metre pitched-roof extension with underfloor heating, a full kitchen install and a limestone floor. The finish Lux contracts have achieved is extremely high-spec and stylish. This project also involved an extensive renovation of one room (the former kitchen) involving a new floor and services; this was also expertly carried out and looks delightful.
Richard’s team were painstaking in terms of tidiness and minimizing disruption despite the large scale of the job. We were genuinely sorry to see them go, because they were extremely helpful and flexible throughout. Richard is agile and a natural problem-solver, with the ability to see the most efficient and the most effective way around a problem, and a very long-sighted view of the implications both practically and aesthetically.
Lux contracts are also valuable allies in the wider process: they knew the local planning authorities well, knew local architects and how to deal with them, and were considerate and positive in dealings with neighbours. We recommend them without hesitation.
